My Native Town
The name of my native town is Yangon. It is in Lower Myanmar. It is the commercial city of Myanmar. It is situated on the bank of Hlaing River. It has a population of about six million. The weather in Yangon is neither too hot nor too cold. Yangon has an international airport where aircrafts from many countries land and take off every day. It also has a modern habour. So, people from all over the country can come to Yangon easily. My home town is famous for the Shwedagon Pagoda, which is well known all over the world. Many foreigners visit the pagoda every day. It is the landmark of Yangon. There are also many modern hotels in Yangon. So, visitors can stay at the hotels comfortably. Moreover, Yangon has good entertainment. There are many cinema halls where there are continuous showings of Myanmar, English, Chinese and Indian films. Other famous places in Yangon are City Hall, High Court, Independence Monument, National Museum, National Theatre, Aung San Stadium, Zoological Garden and Bogyoke Market. All the people living in Yangon are simple and kind. They are also helpful to others. So, I'm proud of my native town and enjoy living in it.
